Let's push ourselves further this year, and surpass the number of books we read last year.

Sadly, I will lessen the number of books I will pledge to read this year. 2014 will be a very busy and stressful year for me. With the upcoming mock CPA board exam coming up (which I really need to pass), my on the job training this summer, and the start of my last academic year in college, I feel like I need to focus on my studies more.But that doesn't mean I'm going to forget reading and blogging. Ha! I'll be here as frequent as I can.

Because she has been very active lately in the book community and she has released a lot of books and novellas already. It's really hard to miss. Just this year, she has released more than five books! Yeah! How awesome can she be?

Birthday Giveaway Part 1: Fangirl Moments

Let's admit it! All of us has been a fangirl (or fanboy) at least once or twice in our life. Whether it's the amazingly gorgeous lead guy in a movie or television series, the close-to-perfect hero of your favorite book, or the out of this world boy band you have always been dying to meet. There's always that rush of excitement and pleasure whenever you see them, think about them or hear them.

I have experienced that, too. Countless of times, actually. From Logan Lerman, to William Herondale; from Ian Somerhalder/Damon Salvatore to the Jonas Brothers; from Alex Pettyfer to One Direction (and a lot more!) I am a true blue fangirl from head to toe.

Anyway, the point is I have been so busy this year that I haven't really been much of a screaming fangirl like a was before. To add to the despair I am feeling, my ultimate favorite teenage boy band/group, the Jonas Brothers, has disbanded. Yeah, that sucks for me! So to sum up, I haven't been feeling the fangirl buzz for the past few months. Well, not until I read Nikki Godwin's American Girl on Saturn. (and NO! It is not about aliens or a girl who went to outer space!)

COVER CRAZY: Time After Time (Time Between Us #2) + Giveaway

Was it just a coincidence or was it fate? That the moment I logged in on twitter, I immediately saw that  Time After Time's cover will be revealed in 30 minutes. This is the second book by Tamara Ireland Stone following the unusual "long distance" relationship of Bennett and Anna.

I have read Time Between Us (the first book) last year, and I did not know it came with a second book. This book has been one of my great reads of 2012. I loved it and I was satisfied with the ending. As much as I loved the ending of the first book, I still want to read more about Bennett and Anna. So, thank you Tamara for another story! :)

Now, the cover...

Both covers are very pretty. Simple yet pleasing to the eyes. At first glance, I think Time After Time will immediately catch someone's attention maybe because of the color. But to be honest, I prefer the subtle shades in Time Between Us. It just looks more elegant with its sky blue shades and horizon(?) landscape. Then, we have Time After Time. What I like with this one is that we can now see Bennett. He is bigger, closer, and clearer than the first book, which is very fitting with the plot. So, which is better? I think the crown goes to Time Between Us.
