Books of 2015 and A Look Towards 2016

Before anything else, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I know, I know... It's almost a month since 2016 started. But better late than never, right?

If you read my previous blog post, you probably know that I've been very busy last year. In fact, back in January, I already anticipated this and set my 2015 Goodreads Reading Challenge to only 30 books. Compared to my 50 last 2014, and 75 last 2013, that's not very promising. But at least I did not deprive myself of reading novels.

So, here it is - the rundown of every book I bought or read last year, and the things I would like to accomplish this 2016.

Most of book I received and bought last year were digital copies. Here are the actual physical books I got. Not so many compared to the previous years, but I'm still thankful to have them. These books are also included in the only "Stacking the Shelves" I posted last year.

For a recap of all the books I read last year, I have to thank the power of screen shot and Goodreads for making it easier for me. Thank you, Goodreads! What would have I done without you?

So here are the books that helped me complete (and surpass) my
2015 Reading Challenge

Sorry, the resolution is a little crappy.
If you want to check out the books above,
here's a link to my the Goodreads shelf.

Goodreads also had this "My Year in Books" feature which I thought was really cool. Basically, it takes you back to all the books you read the past year, all the book statistics like the number of pages you read, which book was the shortest, your average rating that year and a lot more. Now if they only added a "blog this" button, that would make my life a whole lot easier. Instead of taking a screen shot of the page, I'll just click it and it will magically show up on this blog post. Anyway, here is a preview of my year in books:

Obviously, 2015 was not a very fruitful year for me with regard to books and blogging. I have not even posted a single review on the blog last year. That is just sad. And I'm sorry. Hopefully, 2016 will be better than last year.

This year, I am planning to get a whole new look for the blog. And if you are already reading this, it means that the makeover has happened. Look! From pink and girly to plain orange. I love the blog as it is before but I wanted it to  change somehow. You know, the whole "new year, new you" thing.

And of course, I'm going to post more reviews, bookish updates, and some other stuff like the movies or television series that I'm currently hooked with, or the music I'm listening to. But more on bookish posts and updates.

So that's it! Happy 2016!
